How our Shopify apps are sold, supported and ended. Short, and limited to what is actually true of how they work.

These terms are deliberately short. Every clause describes something that is actually true of how our apps are sold and supported today.
Who these terms are between
These terms apply between CRO App and you, the merchant, when you install or use one of our Shopify apps or use this website. Installing an app means you accept them.
What we provide
We publish two Shopify apps: Social Proof Live - Sales Pop, and Coupon Shield. Each app does what its Shopify App Store listing and its page on this website describe. We do not promise any particular sales, conversion or revenue result from using either one.
Pricing and billing
Social Proof Live is free. Coupon Shield is 1.99 US dollars per month with a 1 day free trial. Billing for paid apps is handled by Shopify through your Shopify account, on Shopify's billing terms, not by us directly. If our pricing changes, the Shopify App Store listing is the authoritative source for what you are charged.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for what your store displays. If you use a static or custom message in Social Proof Live, the accuracy of what it says is yours.
- You are responsible for the discounts you create. Coupon Shield caps what a percentage code can take off an order according to the settings you choose; choosing those settings is yours.
- You are responsible for keeping your Shopify account secure and for complying with Shopify's own terms.
Availability
We aim to keep the apps running and will fix problems as quickly as a small team can. We do not offer a guaranteed uptime level, and the apps depend on Shopify's platform, which is outside our control.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you for any claim relating to an app is limited to the amount you paid us for that app in the twelve months before the claim. For a free app that amount is zero. We are not liable for lost sales, lost profits or indirect losses.
Ending it
You can uninstall an app from your Shopify admin at any time, which ends your use of it and revokes our access to your store. We may suspend or end access if an app is being used in a way that breaks these terms or Shopify's.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, with its effective date at the top.
