How we work
What buying from a two-app shop means
Two apps, not a suite
Each app does one job and is priced on its own. You are not buying a dashboard of features you will never switch on, and you are not paying for the other app if you only want one.
Nothing to add to your theme
Neither app asks you to paste a snippet into a Liquid file. Install, configure in your admin, done - and uninstalling leaves nothing behind in your theme to hunt down later.
Honest about what is free
Social Proof Live is free. Coupon Shield is 1.99 US dollars a month with a 1 day free trial. Neither has a hidden tier that switches on once you depend on it.
Support reaches the developers
Email help@croapp.com and you reach the people who wrote the code. We are a small shop, which is a real limitation on response times and an equally real advantage on getting an actual answer.
Getting started
Installing either app

Install from the Shopify App Store
Open the listing, click install, and approve the permissions Shopify shows you. The permission list is the app's real scope; read it rather than clicking past it.

Configure it in your Shopify admin
Both apps are configured entirely inside your admin. For Social Proof Live that means choosing which notifications run and where. For Coupon Shield it means setting a discount cap and a code format.

Change it whenever you want
Nothing is baked in at install time. Turn a campaign off, change a cap, or uninstall, and the change takes effect without a developer.
Questions
Do I need a developer to install either app?
No. Both install from the Shopify App Store and are configured in your Shopify admin. There is no snippet to paste into your theme and no code to write.
Will these slow my storefront down?
Social Proof Live adds a small script to your storefront, so it is not free of cost to the page. Coupon Shield runs inside Shopify's own discount system and adds nothing to your storefront at all. If page weight matters to you, measure your own store before and after installing rather than taking a number from us.
What happens to my data when I uninstall?
Shopify revokes the app's access to your store automatically at uninstall. What is collected while an app is installed, and how long it is kept, is set out in the privacy policy.
Which platforms do you support?
Both apps are Shopify apps. Social Proof Live has also run on other platforms historically; if you are on something other than Shopify, email us and we will tell you honestly whether it will work.
How do I get support?

Social Proof Live costs nothing and installs in a couple of minutes. If it is not useful to your store, uninstall it and nothing is left behind.
